We are a husband and wife photography team that loves meeting new people, seeing the world in new ways and helping others do the same.
We tend to think we have the coolest job in the world. We get to hang out with awesome people and give a slight glimpse into their lives through images.
We met at Bethel University on an ice rink playing broom-ball. We were married in 2004 and still love each other lots! It is so great to be able to work together, grow together and spur each other on to even better photography!
We started photographing shortly after our own wedding when disappointment with our own wedding images led us to explore wedding photography. We started taking pictures for friends, and family and slowly built it into a career. We love making modern, photojournalistic images, and love working with people who want something interesting, modern and fun!
We love photographing weddings because they bring people together with joy, excitement and celebration. But really we love photographing whenever life, with all of it’s quirks and joys, is being lived! We look forward to getting to know you and finding out about what makes you, you.
Things we love doing:
Hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, watching great movies, eating good food, ridiculous kid party games (turns out: pin the tail on the donkey is actually a whole lot more fun as an adult!), Frisbee, broomball, seeing our families, learning new things, traveling, and generally enjoying the goodness of life
