Jackie and Colter were married last Saturday in Walker, MN. We drove up Friday afternoon to get a feel for the area and to check out some places we might get to photograph. The weather report was threatening thunderstorms all day, but it turned out to be a perfect day!
Jackie and Colter first met in daycare many years ago. Their paths crossed during their years growing up, and finally about 5 years ago their relationship blossomed. It was fun to watch as they officially united their lives together.

One of the most notable things about this wedding was the flowers. I have never seen so many flowers at one wedding before! Jackie’s mom is a florist and Jackie was thoroughly spoiled with flowers! I believe the total number of roses ordered for the wedding came to 2600! It was a magnificent display for flowers throughout the day.
I saw a lot of flowers at the ceremony…but when we arrived at the reception I realized that the flowers at the ceremony were just the ‘tip of the iceberg’ as it were. There were over 400 guests and to the back of every chair was delicately tied a bouquet of roses. Each table was lavished with a magnificent centerpiece of flowers.
Rather than a simple toss of the garter, they decided to add a little more intensive competition…musical chairs! It began with 10 gentlemen and 9 chairs. Soon it was down to these two guys and the last chair…
I couldn’t decide which ring picture I liked best so you get two!

wow—seriously brought tears to my eyes and gave me goosebumps… usually pictures dont do the actual cause any justice. I was there and I felt more thru the pics then actually seeing it in real life, that is true talent of a great photographer! Amazing job to the photographers. Great pick on photographers Jackie!!
