Mike and Jacquelyn were married on June 26, 2010 up in Brainerd, MN. Since we were doing unlimited coverage for the day, we got a hotel Friday night at The Lodge (the location of all the wedding festivities) so that were could get a feel for the area and be well rested by Saturday morning.
Our morning began with a little salon hopping as Jacquelyn, her bridesmaids and family were spread out at two different salons in town. Jacquelyn had two stylists working on her hair by the end…Chris, and her bridesmaid, Lindsay! All three spent a good deal of time together “back in the day” and it was fun to watch both Lindsay and Chris work together to put the final touches on Jacquelyn’s hairstyle.
The ceremony was outside at The Lodge. The entire day the sky was threatening rain, but it held off until night fall. How fortunate!
Last fall we photographed Jessica’s (Jacquelyn’s sister) wedding. And Taylor (Jacquelyn’s son) was the ringbearer…or should I say ring-beller. You know, the person who rings the bell when the pastor says the new couple is married?!? Of course Taylor got to have the same job for his mom’s wedding too!
Not only did the bestman and maid of honor get to sign the marriage certificate, but Jacquelyn’s grandparents also got to be a part of making it official!
I couldn’t decide which ring picture I liked the best, so you get two! They are both in the same setup and location but from two different perspectives…
