Viveria is a compilation, a sense, a feeling, of the words vivé and aria. Viveria is our vision; a vision of celebrated life; the good, the wonderful, the beautiful, the mundane, the extraordinary, the divine. Everyone’s life has a rhythm, a rhyme, a melody; whether your personality is a calculated waltz, a free-form jazz, a simply country melody or even a spicy salsa, your life is worth celebrating, enjoying, and living to the fullest! We want this name, who we are, and our business to join in the celebration of lives lived. Welcome, enjoy the images you see live life to the fullest!

Thanksgiving

Here we are, on the verge of the Christmas holiday and I am just getting thanksgiving posted. Oh well, better late than never, right?

It has become tradition for us to celebrate thanksgiving with Alan’s side of the family, the Zedichers. We were missing a few of the cousins that live in the area, but we had the privilege of Christine (Brad’s fiance) join our family. Here are a few pics of the family fun.

If everyone clinks their glasses, Grandpa and Grandma will still kiss!

An egg was lost in the making of the homemade ice cream… but what an opportunity for the fun new macro focus lens!

After dinner and music we sat down for a traditional game of “the dictionary game.” It’s kind of like balderdash, but you actually use a dictionary to find the words. Then everyone submits their idea of a definition, and you vote for the one you think is the real definition.

Wow! The pictures of my pies look as if they should be on a cover of a magazine. Your photography skills are amazing to make something look that good!

Rings

It has been entirely too long since I last posted. So sorry. I have been meaning to post a few pics from our Thanksgiving celebrations, but it seems that there is always something else that is taking priority. Thanksgiving posts will come later this week.

Every so often we take the time to play and stretch our minds. This weekend we played with light, our wedding rings, and a little leftover raspberry wine (thanks Kali!). Here are our favorites. We are planning on making a large (20″x30″) print of one for our living room. Leave us a comment and let us know which one is your favorite!

It’s hard to see due to the size, but if you look carefully you can see the inscription inside Alan’s ring: S.S. 8:6-7

Shawstad Girls

Yesterday we took pictures of these four fabulous females. Our shoot began a little rocky when we found out that we were not allowed to photograph more than two people at a time at the conservatory. This small, but very important detail managed to escape us while we were looking through their photography policy last week. But these ladies were so gracious and willing to flow with anything. We spent a little time brainstorming where we could go to get out of the cold and the wind to take pictures. We finally ended up at their apartment complex taking pictures in the lobby area. Here are a few of our favorites from the three generations of lovely ladies.

Chris and Jen

We just got back from our weekend trip to Wisconsin for the wedding of one of Alan’s college roommates. Typically, when we shoot a wedding we do not get the chance to participate in all the weekend festivities, but since Alan was one of the groomsmen, we got to tag along for the whole ride.

We were not heired as the photographers for this wedding, but we could not resist the opportunity to take pictures of this beautiful couple throughout their weekend. Congratulations again Chris and Jen! We greatly enjoyed ourselves…you throw a good party.

The church they were married in was absolutely gorgeous!

After the rehearsal at the church we went to Curly’s Pub at Lambeau Field, for dinner. Wow, was the food delicious.

Saturday morning everyone got ready at the hotel and went to the church for the wedding. Jen’s dress was exquisite with a small splash of color in her sash.

I wanted to take pictures with Jen and Chris’ rings, but it seemed by the time I asked for the rings, Chris could no longer get his off. Oh well, here are some fun pictures of Jen’s engagement ring and wedding band
