We are getting so close to being caught up with our fall engagement sessions that I can smell it! And just in case you are wondering what that smells like… it smells like home baked bread, because that’s what I’ll be doing a lot of once things slow down a bit…yum!
May I introduce to you, Theo and Leslie…a most delightful couple! We began their engagement session at their home where they managed to inspire me to pull out the paint brushes and try some new colors on the walls (not that I have had time to accomplish this yet…I’ll have to do that in between the bread baking). They were so much fun to spend time with and to photograph…all around an awesome couple! Here are a few of the favorites from the day:

I love hearing about the ways couples find/make time to spend together. We learned that Leslie and Theo have Oreo dates. When things are busy and hectic there’s not always time for a full regular type date, but there’s always time for an Oreo date on the couch!

Then we went downtown near the Stone Arch Bridge and the Guthrie Theater for a few outside pictures. We were hoping that the wind would settle down a little, but alas, it did not. We had to find little spaces out of the wind so we could stay warm(er) and not get blown away.

Another thing we learned about Theo and Leslie the day of their engagement session was “be careful what you suggest” and “be on your toes”. For example, when you jokingly suggest the climbing of trees…be on your toes enough to take the pictures when Theo and Leslie take you up on the tree climbing:)

Leslie and Theo, thanks for such a lovely time and for the many laughs! We loved working with you and very much look forward to working with you again on your wedding day!
